Examination Sheme
The exam will consist of a Computer Based Examination (CBT). Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar).
The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in Hindi, English and in 13 regional languages like Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, and Urdu etc.
The Examination will be conducted in two sessions 1 & 2. Both Sessions are mandatory to be attempted. Not Attempting any session will disqualify the candidate.
The performance of candidate in Session-I will be evaluated first and the performance in Session-II would be evaluated only if a candidate qualifies Session-I.
Minimum qualifying marks in Session-I and as well as in Session-II Given Below -
General (UR) - 30%
OBC / EWS - 25%
All Other Categories - 20%
The Recruitment process for the post of Havaldar will consist of Computer Based Exam, Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test.

Time - 45 Minutes (60 Min for eligible for scribes)
Math - 20 Questions/ 60 Marks
Reasoning - 20 Questions/ 60 Marks

Time - 45 Minutes (60 Min for eligible for scribes)
General Awareness - 25 Questions/ 75 Marks
English Lang. & Comprehensive - 25 Questions/ 75 Marks
Instructions -
Computer Based Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions (MCQs).The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in Hindi, English and in 13 regional languages like Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, and Urdu etc. for Session-I and the General Awareness Section of Session-II.
There will be no negative marking in Session-I. But In Session-II, there will be negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.

The questions in this part intend to measure the candidates’ general learning ability. The questions will be broadly based on Alpha-Numeric Series,

Non-verbal Reasoning based on diagrams,
age Calculations,

General Awareness
